have laid off breaststroke for a while cos my knee is crankly, and it'd be stupid to pooch my entire season for the sake of a crappy kick that, when done properly, only stops you dead in the water, as opposed to my (highly illegal) version that actually provides *propulsion.*

the silver lining in this is that freestyle now seems silky smooooooth.
