Buddyhead will get you free shit

i learned this morning that this shirt will get you free coffee and a dozen Dunkin Donuts for the price of 6 at the kw hwy DD, compliments of your friendly hardcore counter help. (the tall skinny guy with all the piercings. whist!)

i am in a shitty mood because rudy informed me yesterday afternoon that i've torn my hamstring again -- not as bad as the first time -- and i didn't get much sleep because i started reading The Raw Shark Texts last night and could not stop.

so i'm sleepy and i hate the world, and then some guy gives me a break cos he likes my shirt. here's where i could be all blog-closurely and claim i feel so much better but even with that act of kindness my shit's still torn, my head still throbs and and i still want to be the fuck alone.

The Raw Shark Texts
is really good, though: well-written, unusual plotline and unputdownable. recommended by mark danielewski and rightfully so.

So what does this mean? Are you supposed to rest up? Was it the fall that caused it? Or just the du on the weekend?

it was that 5K i did weeks ago, coming off the bike and going full-tilt into the race instead of easing into it.

what does this mean? means i'm off running for a while and a nasty bitch right now. nastier than usual i mean.

Erp, sounds awful. Would that I had a house nearer to you I would come over laden down with hooch and naked photos of ginger men, and videos n' shit.
But I do not, So I'm waggling spirit fingers at the screen on my Dapple and hoping it heals quick smart. I have also threatened a cat with losing a goodly number of his nine lives in your honor.

a dead cat would def cheer me up right now.

maybe i will find when i get home that one of the snorgoyles got hit by a car or carried off by a red-tailed hawk.

Going on the 6th - and by flight this time, thankfully, since it's a more or less direct flight. Spending 36 hours on a train for the same amount of dough sucks donkey dung!

Buddyhead can also get people pissed off at you, though.

I wore an old Buddyhead t-shirt with the Grateful Dead logo crossed out in Haight-Ashbury. And local denizens were quite vocal in their disaste.

Sure...I was asking for it. But, you know, everyone is kinda pissed in Haight-Ashbury.

i wonder if you'd get a better response wearing a "Giuliani, 2008" shirt in H-A.

might be fun.

The last time I went to H-A I was wearing a hoodie, my buddy was wearing a Slayer t-shirt and a bunch of "gutter punks" called us cops.

if you have an extra Rudy tee, hook me up, finn. You might be one of those 9-11 Democrats they're always talking about....

wow, i actually heard the sound of spittle hitting the monitor just then. but don't be calling me a dem. i'm still a staunch independent.
