doing our part

talked to me mum last night; my parents are soon off to a hiking trip in austria.

- we got waterproof covers for our backpacks. we got crampons. oh, and we got our stimulus check.
- sweet. just in time.
- just in time - she agreed - and you know what we did? we took it to the bank and cashed it for euros.
- way to stimulate the economy, mom.
- i just despise that man.

i cannot disagree and i'm just back from the bank after doing the same.
